2018 Jingle Bell Run

Please join me this year in support the 2018 Jingle Bell Run in support of the  Arthritis Foundation. The event is May 19th in the morning. Since there move to Plano, the participation is growing and they continue to need our support.  We will need approximately 12 hams to support this event. The potential assignments are listed below. They asked we could also supply a few generators to support the PA systems and a few other items that need AC power.  Since I know that per capita we hams have more generators that any other group, I thought this would be a sure thing. Even if you can’t make the event we still could use your generator. We will make sure that it is returned with gas in it..  

Positions

  • Net Control
  • Asst Net Control
  • Cart Driver
  • Tail (Bicycle or Runner)
  • Water Station 1 (May have to walk to location)
  • Water Station 2 (May have to walk to location)
  • Water Station 3 (May have to walk to location)
  • Police Liaison
  • Medical Liaison
  • AC Generator Wrangler (2 Staff)

Volunteers need to be on-site at Granite Business Park no later than 2:00 pm.  Almost all operators will be released before 6:00 pm.
